Belgian Infantry Memorial (Monument à la Gloire de l’Infanterie belge) on Place Poelaert in Brussels, Belgium with the “Big Wheel” (a temporary Ferris wheel attraction) illuminated in the background Framed Poster Print. The monument was designed by Edouard Vereycken and installed on May 5, 1935.
It commemorates the Belgian infantry soldiers who fought in the World Wars, with the years “1914” and “1918” inscribed on the base.
The Ferris wheel, also known as “The View,” rises to 55 meters and offers a panoramic view over the city.
The memorial is located in front of the massive Palace of Justice building.
